- Students started off the day with formulating and testing hypotheses activity
- Then continued with analysis of college essays with Dr. Messmer
- Finished off the DNA activity with Dr. Beason by running an electrophoresis of their DNA sample in a gel
- After lunch, the students attended a presentation by Dr. West in which she discussed the difference between science and engineering along with the current research in her lab
- Students ended the day in the Rudgers lab where Marcus and Liz discussed their research involving plants.
